Three deep bass driven tracks that really lifts our spirits on the daily commute or when walking home at 3am:

1.Digital Mystikz - Eyez
South London dubstep pioneer Mala's highly anticipated album "Return II space" is finally here. Eyez is our favourite track so far of the album with beautiful harmonies and the signature wobbling bass. Released July 5th on his DMZ label and available as a three piece limited vinyl on Juno.

2.fLako & Berghem - Put chur hand up
We brought you a track from fLako earlier this year. Originally from Chile, fLako now resides in London and has decided to make music for a living. His latest banger "Put chur hand up" is taken off the new Beatniks vol.3 album (get it here).

3.Siriusmo - Mein neues fahrrad (boys noize rework)

Information is scarce about this Berlin based producer. Appearantly fine art painter by day and undercover Berlin dance guru by night he has put out a few remixes and releases on Monkeytown records. A label with a motto that is "Anything Pharell Williams can do, we can do better". At least on this particular track we'd have to agree.

Tokyo Dawn Records presents The heart compilation

New compilation from Tokyo Dawn Records including over a dozen previously unreleased songs from some of Beathearts favourite producers such as Hygher Baby, Miles Bonny, Simbad and fLako. 'The Heart' also features special vocal appearances from Georgia Anne Muldrow with her song from Mos Def’s latest album as well as Questlove's sister Donn T. Eighteen declarations of life put together by label founder Marc Wallowy. 'The Heart' will hit major stores on September 17th 2010.

DJ EKO – Soultronica mixes

This dropped in our mailbox a while ago by DJ EKO together with a quick dig of the name of our blog. We've listened to the mixes a lot but didn't took the time to do a write-up.

The two mixes were presented by Okayplayer, the first for Valentine's Day and the second last month. Both are straight up fire! Vol. 1 are the slow jams and mellow tunes interlaced perfectly with all beathearts favorites like Frank Ocean, SBTRKT, Tiombe Lockhart, Mar, J*Davey, Robin Hannibal and a lot more heat! Vol. 2 is a little more uptempo though also somethin’ lovely and dazzling with favorite features from Miguel, Dwele, Jamie Woon, Little Dragon and more.

DJ EKO has been in the game for years, from a radio show in the Bay to a journalism stint at URB Magazine. Now she’s based in NYC, DJing around the city and beyond. Both mixes are free downloads so get them through the soundcloud players while they are available!

Eric Lau - Yesterday feat. Guilty Simpson, Fatima & Olivier Daysoul

We've been covering the magnificent beatmaker Eric Lau previously in a couple of posts, most def one of our top favorites! His new EP 'The Mission' will be out february 3rd on Kilawattmusic. The second track that been presented from the EP is Yesterday feat. Guilty Simpson, Fatima & Olivier Daysoul. How about those features huh?? The always steady detroit supreme Guilty Simpson features on 5 of the 7 tracks and who seem to chose his collaborations with a perfect aim. Our own swedish London gal Fatima who released a fab EP in 2011 along with other great projects together with fLako, Floating Points, Shafiq Husayn of Sa-Ra and more. The souly Olivier Daysoul released together with Oddisee his solo debut 'Mr. Saint Louis' two years ago and featured on Onra's 'Long Distance', one of the best tracks from 2010.

Daphni - Jiaolong

Every now and then these experimental gems turns up from nowhere and gets our full attention. This time it's Dan Snaith (Caribou) who about to drop his debut album Jiaolong under his Daphni alias. .

It's electronic, it's dirty but most of all it's got some amazing grooves. Put yourself in a state of Africa Hitech meets fLako and you're not far away.

“I’ve been building a modular synthesizer, which plays a prominent role on this album. It growls or screams when I don’t expect it to. Nudging one dial changes the sound so drastically that I’ll never get the original sound back. It’s like improvising with another musician, and its voice is all over this music.”

Jiaolong is apparently the name of a mythical Chinese sea monster and also the name of one of China's exploratory deep sea submarines. Dan has been experimenting with these dirtier sounds for a while but this is his first full album as Daphni.

“I’ve been recording for several months, starting different sketches of songs and different ideas. The general process for me making an album is to record loads and loads of raw material - bits of songs, a rhythmic element - and not really work on finishing any of them; just collect loads of half-finished ideas for six months, and come back later on and see what sticks.”

The Jiaolong album is out for digital release on Merge on October 9th and the physical drop is a week later.

Union - Analogtronics

The french duo Union just released their LP 'Analogtronics' Jan.27 on Fatbeats. We mentioned them briefly in our 2011 top selection earlier, and we have been waiting for this to drop since we heard the smashing track 'Wings' featuring Elzhi earlier this fall. Fatbeats is releasing this on a cool double neon vinyl as well as CD. If you have a spotify account you can play it there.

Union consists of the two parisian producers OJ & GOLD. The album features a dream team of MC's such as Talib Kweli, Elzhi, MF DOOM, Sly Johnson, Roc Marciano, Rapper Big Pooh, Guilty Simpson, Moka Only and more.

There's been three tracks issued so far, Digital Delight, Wings and Time Leak, first two are free downloads over at bandcamp, click the info buttons to get over there. The Time Leak single (get the triangle vinyl over at Fatbeats) also features two blasting remixes from Damu the Fudgemunk and fLako. The track got a dope music video as well.

Hi-Hat Club Vol.5 - Eggs and pancakes

Dutch producers FS Green (Franklin Samuel Groen) and Full Crate are on a roll. When they're not busy putting on parties like The Gardens in Amsterdam they've got a steady flow of amazing beattapes, compilations and mixtapes.

Their most recent output is volume 5 of their instrumental album series Hi-Hat Club. This one entitled Eggs and pancakes and is in our view their best output so far. Bouncy electronic beats, deep bass and smooth harmonies. Available now at their bandcamp.

Marvin Marlyn - In the heart of my walkman vol.1

On our global quest for new funk newcomer Marvin Marlyn has lead us to Chile. 19 years old this Santiago resident has already developed a mature nu-funk sound in the vein of Dâm-Funk, Krystal Klear and Flako.
